This small group (4 person) course teaches the basic skills of metalsmithing, including hand-sawing, filing, soldering, stamping, texturing, and more!
This course is ideal for beginners but can also be a wonderful refresher for folks who have previous experience with metalwork.
Class consists of 4 weekly sessions, from 5:30-8pm, for a total of 10 hours of instruction, to kickstart your practice with the metal arts. Classes will take place at the Button Factory Studios (#214) in Portsmouth, NH.
During class you will design and make: gemstone statement ring(s), gemstone pendant, stud earrings, textured dangle earrings (time permitting)
OCTOBER CLASS DATES: 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28
All class materials are included; you will be provided with sterling silver materials for metalwork.
